Stellar Plant Services is moving forward with a significant expansion near the Tulsa Port of Catoosa, aimed at increasing production capacity and adding specialized coating services. As the company prepared for this growth phase, it sought guidance from the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center to navigate incentives, site planning, financing options, and internal financial readiness for the project.

The Oklahoma SBDC provided comprehensive assistance throughout the process, guiding Stellar Plant Services through the full Business Expansion Incentive Program (BEIP) application and presentation, which ultimately resulted in a successful award. Additional support included coordination with Tulsa Ports on zoning, utilities, and site planning; preparing project financials and lender-ready materials; and connecting the company with TEDC for potential SSBCI funding. To support its expanding operations, Stellar Plant Services strengthened its workforce by sending supervisors to Tulsa Tech’s Frontline Leadership training.

With the BEIP award secured, Stellar Plant Services is actively developing its new facility and working with lenders on financing. The company has enhanced its management capacity, improved planning for its newest project, and positioned itself to pursue future contracts as the expansion progresses.
